Author of ‘A Practical Guide to the Independent School Standards’
Sarah McKimm, M.A. (Oxon.), M.A. (London), is a qualified solicitor with particular expertise in safeguarding children, governance, and the regulation of schools. She was Deputy General Secretary of ISC and latterly Head of Legal and Policy at the Independent School Inspectorate where she was heavily involved in the Independent Inquiry into Child Sexual Abuse. Sarah has written and lectured widely about the regulation and inspection of schools and is the author of ‘A Practical Guide to the Independent School Standards’. She is an experienced school governor and currently serves as Independent Chair of the Diocesan Safeguarding Advisory Panel for the diocese of London.
