This page is intended for AGBIS member schools only and the contents are not meant for wider circulation.
AGBIS want to offer our members as much support as possible in this difficult and unpredictable times. Below are some resources we hope you will find useful.
- Given the move back to remote learning, there are some significant questions to consider if you are thinking about an adjustment of fees for this term, especially if your school is also a charity. The briefing note on fees prepared by Farrer’s and the ISBA, is attached here. Equally important in this context is a reminder note about competition law. Please find that here
- For public exams in England, we now know that they are not going ahead in their usual form but are still awaiting real clarity on how these are going to be assessed for 2021. We will bring you further updates as and when we can, but meanwhile please find here the latest ISC Coronavirus Information bulletin, which includes a section on exams (both public exams and in-year admissions tests) and links to further useful information including a statement from Ofqual.
- ISEB have also provided an update on Examinationas and Assessments. Please click here to access.
- The DfE have published guidelines on Actions for schools during the coronavirus outbreak. Please click here to read.
- Regarding boarding, the BSA publishes a very helpful regular update. The update from the 7 January can be found here.
