Guidelines for Governors
'Guidelines for Governors' is the definitive work on the governance of independent schools. The 1999 edition of 'Guidelines' was a best-seller, nearly ten thousand copies were sold; it has been revised three times since then, the most recent revision being completed in November 2005.
To enable updating of the contents, the new 'Guidelines for Governors' is produced in a loose-leaf format with ring binder and fibre-board cover. All pages of the new version are marked with Issue 05 at the bottom of each page, to indicate the year of publication. The version prior to that has pages marked with Issue 0. Any version older than 5 years has no annotation on the pages and will now be quite out of date.
GUIDELINES FOR GOVERNORS complete with the latest updates, is currently available to member schools at £5.00 per copy, inclusive of postage and packing (except for certain overseas locations where postage may be charged at cost - please email admin@agbis.org.uk for a postage quote). Non-member schools and individuals may purchase GUIDELINES at £6.00 per copy.
INSERTS for Guidelines binders are also available; details are on the order form attached.
Clerks to Governing Bodies or individuals may download an ORDER FORM from here and send it with payment to the Secretary.
