AGM

The Annual General Meeting is held in London, either late February or early March.  The AGM brings together school representatives for a report of the Executive Committee's stewardship and an exchange of views on current and recurring issues. 

The 2008 AGM was held on Monday 25th February at the Merchant Taylors' Hall.

The keynote speaker was Julia Cleverdon, CBE CVO, Chief Executive of Business in the Community; her address was entitled: Education and Business - One Community.  The afternoon forum had the theme: Engaging with the Community.  Speakers included: Lord Adonis, Parliamentary Under Secretary of  State, Schools and Learners, DCSS on Adademies; Sir Bruce Liddington, Schools Commissioner at DCSF on Academies and Trust Schools; Jenifer Ball, St Paul's School on Community Links; and Yvonne Burke, Hammersmith & Fulham on Independent State Schools Partnership.
